Key Role Responsibilities:

• Role is a balance of data analysis, financial planning and stakeholder management:
  • Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess the impact of proposed solutions
  • Partner closely with all business stakeholders across different functions to set and implement the strategy

Day-to-day tasks:

• Monitor & manage day-to-day marketplace growth metrics, investigate short-term anomalies and troubleshoot with the relevant team as needed.
• Developing day-to-day tactical initiatives to improve marketplace dynamics, using marketplace tools efficiently.
• Coordinate cross teams to execute campaigns from end-to-end, to update system knowledge and troubleshoot system issues.
• Perform demand planning such as forecast demand, come up with growth initiatives for weekly and monthly cycles.
• Set up campaigns on the system. Monitor and adjust campaign performance on a daily basis.
• Conduct preliminary analysis to drive insight on effectiveness and impact of the campaign to revenue and demand growth
• Assist Marketplace Senior to conduct experiments for economics optimization.
• Build presentations to influence senior stakeholders and enable data driven decision making.

The must haves:

• A degree from the University, 3-4 years of working experience in Market research, Data analytics or Campaign management.
• Good insight of user behavior/ business/ market
• Familiarity with economics is a strong plus - fundamentally, this role is about matching supply and demand efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and meticulousness
• Good logical and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skill and an excellent team player with strong work ethics

We are looking for a new Specialist to join one of our Business Process Improvement Teams. The Day-to-Day Activities

You will manage end to end business improvement and automation projects regionally, across all departments and functional areas. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Identifying operational improvement and automation opportunities and recommending initiatives advancing the company’s key objectives

• Diagnosing complex operational problems and developing compelling, data-driven solutions

• Using quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive management decisions

• Owning and implementing projects identified as key priority by the senior leadership

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders

• Driving process re-engineering or, in the case of new businesses launched by Grab, designing new, scalable processes to support rapid growth

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Business disciplines from top-tier institutions with a strong academic record

• 2+ years of experience, preferably with project management or business process improvement, including process mapping, operating model design, transition planning, etc.

• Strong analytical skills

• Advanced in Excel / Google Sheets

• Good understanding of the programming logic and ability to communicate with developers

• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are critical as you will interact with very diverse stakeholders in the business and technology spaces

• Ability to think from different perspectives and generate functional solutions

• Ability to see the big picture and dive into and understand operational details

• Ability to build consensus across teams and influence successful outcomes in business improvement

The Nice-to-Haves

• 2+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
