Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Purchaser at Smartdev. This is an entry-level position, perfect for a recent graduate who has a background in economics, accounting, business English, business administration, logistics, or a related field. As a Purchaser, you will play a vital role in the procurement and supply chain management process, ensuring that our company maintains efficient and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
2. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and supplier offerings to identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
3. Order Processing: Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of orders.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and coordinate with various departments to optimize inventory turnover.
5. Cost Analysis: Analyze pricing, discounts, and terms to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective purchasing strategies.
6. Contract Negotiation: Assist in contract negotiation and management with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to support the smooth flow of goods and materials.

• Prepare documents for Purchasing Order issuing
• Prepare supplier database, follow up RFQs (request for quotations)
• Deal with local and oversea suppliers directly to support RFQ, vendor creation
• Support local and oversea buyers on purchasing process
• Follow up and support in implementation of strategy tasks and KPI for purchasing department
• Follow up purchasing contracts
• Do other daily business assistance

• Receive material from the supplier on the basis of purchase order.
• Arrange materials in proper manner. Stock card should be allocated to each and every item.   
• Preserve the material in store on safe custody.  
• Record the receipt and issue of material in the respective stock card regularly and maintain store ledger and stock cards so that indicate the quantity of stock held by store every time.
• Issue of material as per the requisition of the production.
• Coordinate and supervise the duty of the third-party like as worker, inspector.
• Monthly stock count-tally physical stock and stock card and report the variance immediately.
• Checking container before loading the goods & Seal the container.
• Weight those trucks &container at weight bridge office. 
• Daily warehouse keeping and other jobs shall be assigned by superior.

- eCatalog management/ creation/ update in different platforms
- Orders amendment/deletion
- Customer service provider: Support Users with issue with ticketing system
- Workflow handling (Invoice Verification, etc.)
- Fulfills any other tasks related to indirect purchasing area of responsibility

Overall Responsibilities:

• Source, collect quotations and prepare quotation summary to select suppliers that offered the most favorable quotations based on the criteria: reasonable price (value for money), best delivery lead time, best quality, and good service
• Understand and assist the production engineers to assure tooling, product and production time frames are met.
• Continuous supplier negotiations that assure product and tooling costs are controlled and justified.
• Review all tooling and product invoices to assure costs are accurate and justified
• Follow up the purchasing request to buy tooling on time.
• Acknowledge and respond to e-mails and tasks daily and accurately.
• Manage the daily production priorities outlined by the corporate office.
• Doing the payment after receiving the red INV
• Carry out other duties from Supply Chain Manager.

• BS above, Fresh Graduate or 2-3 years of experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
